During the Order’s Sesquicentennial celebration there are many opportunities for alumni to celebrate. One of those opportunities is the creation of an Alumni College. On June 11-14 alumni and their guests will have an opportunity to spend a few days exploring the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. This is a great chance for those who cannot attend the 76th Convention to visit Lexington in this most important anniversary year. Activities will include carriage rides and tours of historic Lexington, Jefferson’s Monticello, Washington and Lee University, the Virginia Military Institute and more. Additionally attendees will enjoy lectures on Robert E. Lee, George C. Marshall and a special session with Dr. Martin Claggett, the author of the forthcoming history of the Order.
To learn more about this unique opportunity and register please visit http://www.kappaalphaorder.org/2015/02/2015-alumni-college-announced. Please help us share this information with other KA alumni. I hope you will consider coming to Lexington to explore the birthplace of Kappa Alpha Order.
