Three become Delta Epsilon Alumni

The Newberry College December Commencement was held on Saturday the 13th. Sixty seven students received their degree and became Newberry College Alumni with all rights and privileges thereof. Mr. Gerald Seals, Associate Professor of Business, was the Commencement speaker and gave the students an inspiring message of principles in his life experience that has served him well. Students would be mindful to take heed. Among those are, do something that is needed, never use the word can’t, do more with less and make yourself necessary.

Receiveing degrees were three Brothers of Kappa Alpha Order Delta Epsilon Chapter: Jared Homesley, Jay Bethea, and William (Bill) Brant. With this commencement they become members of the Delta Epsilon Alumni Association with all the rights and privileges thereof. Those including…1) the right to be part owner of the David A. Chase House in the Woods through the DE Alumni Foundation , 2) the right to attend all DE Alumni functions and Active Chapter functions at Newberry College, 3) the right to hold an officer position in the DE Alumni Association and/or the DE Alumni Foundation, 4)  of course the right to pay dues to the Association, 5) and three years after graduating the opportunity to become a member of the Graves Province Court of Honor.

Congratulations to our new Alumni Brothers.
